Joanne Elder

Joanne Elder was born and raised in Toronto, Ontario. She attended the University of Western Ontario where she earned a Masters degree in Engineering Science. As a Professional Engineer she spent several years in the aeronautical industry, and thereafter assumed a research position in the nuclear industry. Joanne has published numerous technical papers.

Living in King City, Ontario, Joanne spends her spare time fending off the nerd image by enjoying sports and attempting to keep her two teenagers and husband in line.

Joanne’s combined passion for science and a fast paced read has led her to her final calling: to write the next generation of science fiction thrillers, which will leave readers on the edge of their seats and their minds spinning in amazement.

In memory of her father, a World War II veteran, Joanne is donating fifty percent of all her e-book royalties to Alzheimer's research.
